Una linda ratoncita.... / A cute little mouse.....

Estas Minnies son para unas gemelas que están locas por la pequeña ratoncita...las hice de colores diferentes para poderlas diferenciar, jeje

These Minnies are for two little twins that are crazy about this little mouse...I made them in different colours to be able to differenciate them!

Son convertibles, o broche o diadema, para que las puedan aprovechar más

They are either brooch or hairband, you can transform  them, so they can wear them more.

Broche Excentric / Eccentric brooch

Seguimos explorando y buscando nuevas formas de reciclar esos materiales que aunque son residuos tienen un gran potencial en si mismos. Y como ejemplo aquí tenéis un broche que me encanta, lo he llamado Excentric, y es que un poco excéntrico si es, no? jeje

Hi, we continue exploring and looking for new ways to recycle these materials that, although they are waste, have a great potential in themselves. And as an example, look what I've done lately, a brooch that I have called Excentric, because it is a little excentric, isn't it?

Buhito / Little owl

Hola! que  tal va la semana? He estado muy ocupada pero al final he conseguido tener algo de tiempo para  enseñaros mi nuevo broche. Está echo de cápsulas nespresso recicladas y es tan mono que no puedo dejar de llevarlo!

Hi! How are you this week? I've been really busy, but eventually I've been able to get some time for you, and to show you my new brooch. It's made from recycled coffee capsules and it's so cute that I can't stop wearing it!!

Pendientes / Earrings "Layers"

Hola! Has visto los nuevos pendientes del canastico? Están echos de cápsulas nespreso, y me encantan...no he dejado de ponermelos desde que los hice...pegan con toda mi ropa! 

Hey, have you seen the new Canastico's earrings? They are made of nespreso capsules, and I love them, I haven't stopped wearing them since  I made them...they fit with all my clothes!! 

Se pueden hacer en varios colores, pero estos en dorado me pegan bastante, no? jeje....aunque tengo que probar unos negros y plateados, creo que podrían funcionar tambien.

They can be made in several colours, but these in gold match perfect with my style, don't they?...I have to try black and silver though, I think they could work too.

Feliz año / Happy new year

El Canastico está de vacaciones, pero no podía dejar de desearos a todos un próspero año, en el que se cumplan vuestros deseos, y espero encontraros por aquí a la vuelta de las vacaciones.

Jirafa de pañales / Diaper-Giraffe

Buenos dias!! Para terminar el año aqui os presento mi primera jirafa de pañales!!

Hello!! To end the year I'd like to show you my first diaper giraffe:

Esta echa con pañales y lleva 4 pares de calcetines, un babero, un chupete y un mordedor

It contains diapers (of course), 4 pairs of socks, a bib, a pacifier and a  teether.

Pantalones con arte / Creative trousers

Todos los pantalones te parecen iguales? Por qué no les das un toque diferente con un poco de imaginación? Lo único que necesitas es un pincel, pintura para tela...y un diseño bonito!!

All your trousers look the same to you? Why don't you make them different with a bit of imagination? You just need a brush, fabric paint....and a design you like!

Yo opté por un diseño en blanco y negro con corazones y espirales, y este que veis en las fotos fue el resultado. Os gusta?

I did mine black and white, with hearts and spirals, and you can see the result in the photos...do you like it?

La pintura para tela da muy buen resultado, yo ya los he lavado 5 o 6 veces en la lavadora con un ciclo normal y no se borra nada.

Fabric paint is perfect, I have washed them 5-6 times in the washing machine, with a normal wash cycle and they look the same than when I painted them.

Broche Divina / Divine Brooch

Has visto ya los nuevos broches Divine? Están hechos con capsulas nespresso, puedes elegir entre gran variedad de colores, añadirles plumas o no.

Have you already seen the new Divine brooches? They're made with Nespresso capsules, and you can choose among a big variety of colours, add feathers or not.

Tengo que reconocer que mi preferido es el marron con dorado...aunque dependerá la ocasión, claro!

I have to confess that my favourite is the brown and gold-colored one....but, of course, it'll depend on the situation!!

La tarta de pañales de Diego / Diego's diaper-cake

Recién salida del horno, aquí tenéis otro modelo de tarta de pañales, ya sabéis, el regalo ideal para un recién nacido:

Freshly baked, here you can see another diaper cake model...the ideal gift for a mother and her newborn.

Como veis, además de quedar muy mona, dentro lleva muchas cositas útiles: gel, champú, aceite, chupetes, biberón, calcetines, baberos, toallitas...y más cosas!

As you can see in the photos, besides being so cute, inside it has a lot of useful things: gel, shampoo, oil, pacifiers, feeding bottles, socks, bibs, baby wipes ... and much more!

Y pañales, claro! jeje. Aquí ya la tengo envuelta y lista para enviar:

A Diego no se, pero seguro que a sus papis les viene genial ;-)

Aires de boda Winds of wedding 5: novios para la tarta y regalito para las chicas / figures for the cake and gifts for the girls

Bueno, aquí se termina la boda, y para acabar hay que cortar la tarta!

Que os parecen mis novios personalizados para la tarta...se nos parecen no? jeje...el ramo con los mismos colores, pelo, trajes...

And here it is the end of the wedding, but before I finish off we should cut the cake, what do you think about my customized figures for the cake...they resemble us, don't they? hehe, the bridal bouquet in the same colours, our hair, costumes...

Tengo que confesar que es una de las cosas que más me gustó hacer

I have to confess this is one of the things I enjoyed more doing

Ha medida que los iba cosiendo me entraban unos nervios...y es que nos veía ya así, con el vestido y el ramo!!

While I was sewing them, I was getting more and more nervous...I could almost see us there, with the dress and the bouquet!

Y para finalizar estos son los regalitos de las chicas, que hice con cremalleras. Mi suegra me preparó unas cestitas de mimbre forradas para ponerlos. La verdad que con los nervios y todo se me olvidó fotografiarlos todos allí puestos, pero bueno, así es como quedaron, en sus bolsitas de organza:

At the end we gave these little gifts I did with zippers to all the girls. My mother-in-law prepared a nice wicker basket to place them, but I was so nervous I forgot take a photo of it. Anyway, here you can see them in their organza sachets:

Ay, que casi se me olvida!!! lo ultimo, último que hice "in extremis" fueron estas bolsas para poner los cuadros de los regalos de cumpleaños, porque al final cuando llegaron no encontré bolsas tan grandes, asi que las tuve que hacer yo!

Hey, I almost forget it! The last thing I really did where these bags to place inside the birthday-present paintings , because when they arrived I couldn't find such big bags, so I had to do them myself!

Bueno, pues con esto he acabado de contaros todos las cositas que hice para mi boda, que no fueron pocas, pero estuve entretenidisima y fue estupendo hacer tantas cosas para ese dia tan especial.Espero que os hayan gustado.

Well, these are all the things I did for my wedding, there were quite a lot of them, so I was very entertained, but it was great doing so many things for that day so special. I hope you have liked them.

Aires de boda/ Winds of wedding 4: El ramo de la novia / Bridal bouquet

Vamos allá! Hoy continuamos con la boda, y toca una de las cosas más especiales ...el ramo de novia!!

There we go! Today we continue with  the wedding, with one of the most special things I did...my bridal bouquet!

Al principio la gente me decia que era una cosa muy especial, que si quedaria mal....que mejor que lo comprara...pero yo habia visto modelos por internet que me gustaban  y pense que dandole mi toque personal podria quedar bien, así que me lancé.

At the beginning, people told me I couldn't do it myself, that it was a very special thing, and maybe it was better to buy it...but I had seen several ones on internet that I liked and I thought that with a personal touch it could be lovely, so I leapt into it!

Hice dos modelos, uno más moderno y otro algo más clasico. Aqui abajo teneis los dos terminados...cual creeis que elegí al final?????

I did two models, here you have both of them....which one do you think I chose at the end????

Bueno, vamos con el primero: está confeccionado con varios materiales, fieltro, plumas y capsulas nespresso, y tiene un look moderno y arriesgado:
Well, let's see the first one: it's made with several materials as felt, feathers and nespresso capsules, and it has a modern and bold look:

El segundo es un bouquet más clasico, con el centro en blanco y plateado (mis zapatos eran de este color, así que quise poner algo plata en el ramo para conjuntarlo también, jeje), rosas rojas alrededor, y lilas en el borde exterior. 

The second one is a more classic bouquet, with its center in white and silvery (my shoes were silvery too, so I wanted to put this color in the bouquet too, to match everything together, hehe), red roses  around and purple ones in the outer edge.

Siii, al final me decidí por el clasico, el otro era demasiado moderno para mi vestido, creo, pero estuve dudando hasta el ultimo momento!!

Yes, finally  I chose the second one, the other was too much modern for my dress, I think, but I was doubting till the last minute!!

Bueno, ya solo queda un post con las ultimas, pero no por ello menos inportantes, cositas de la boda.....pero eso será en otra ocasión!Feliz semana!!

Pintando paredes / Painting walls

Hoy vamos a descansar un poco del bodorrio...aunque aun me quedan unas cositas por enseñaros, pero poco a poco, hoy cambiamos de tema.

Today, although I've still things to show you about the wedding, we're going to rest a bit, and change the topic.

Definitivamente, me encanta pintar las paredes de mi casa, pocas cosas dan tanta personalidad a una casa como esta.

Definitely, I love to paint my home's walls, very few things give so much personality to a house as this.

Primero hago el dibujo en un papel. Luego, con un lápiz, pinto los trazos principales muy suave en la pared, solo para guiarme y distribuir bien el espacio.

First, I do the drawing in a piece of paper. Then, with a pencil, I draw the main lines very lightly on the wall, just to guide myself and distribute the space.

Y luego sobre esos pues...a pintar!

And over that...just paint!

En estas fotos podeis ver el proceso pintando la esquina del salón, que como dijo mi hermano, queda "muy a lo Tim Burton", jeje.

In this photos you can see the process painting the livingroom. As my brother said, it's very Tim Burton's style, hehe.

Y aquí abajo estoy en la habitación, es este caso unas florecillas con mariposas del mismo color que la pared del cabecero:

Below, I'm in the main bedroom, painting some flower with butterflies, the same color like the headboard's wall.

Aires de boda / Winds of wedding 3: pendientes y broches /earrings and boutonniers

Seguimos con la boda, hoy tocan accesorios para el novio y la novia! 

We carry on with the wedding, today is time for bride and groom's  accesories.

Que os parecen como me quedaron mis pendientes de novia? 

Al final, aunque tenía preparados la pareja, solo llevé uno porque al peinarme con el pelo hacia el lado quedaba mejor así.

Finally, although I had done the couple, I only wore one, because of my one side hairstyle:

Como se ve un poco en esta de aquí abajo el tocado también llevaba plumas blancas, y salía un poco por la izquierda, la idea era que el pendiente llenara la zona donde llevaba el pelo retirado:

As you can see better below, the head-dress had white feathers too, and it stood out a little over my left side, so the idea was that the earring filled the area were there was no hair:

Y para el novio y el padrino hice estos broches de solapa (o boutoniers, como les llaman en algunos sitios). El primero que teneis aquí abajo es el del novio, y la flor principal la hice con un trozo de tela del vestido de su madre, la madrina. También tenía plumas, como mis pendientes,  y otra flor lila igual que en el ramo de la novia...

For the groom and the best man I did these boutoniers.

The first you can see below is the groom's one. I did the purple main  flower with a piece of  fabric of his mother's dress (the maid of honour). It had also white feathers, like my earrings, and another purple flower identical as some in my bride's bouquet.

El broche del padrino es este de aquí abajo, con la misma flor lila del ramo de la novia, todos a juego!

The best man's brooch is this one below, with the very same flower as in the groom's one and in the bride's bouquet....matching everything!!
