Y sigue lloviendo, parece que tenemos la primavera más lluviosa en muchos años...en fin, que le vamos a hacer! Al mal tiempo buena cara, y como cualquier día salimos nadando aquí tenéis unos   broches muy ...acuáticos, jeje!

It's still raining, it seem this is going to be the most rainy spring in many years...and as any day we'd have to go out swimming, I did this brooches very...aquatics!

A jugar / Let's play

Hace poquito fue el cumple de mi sobri, y mi cuñada me hizo un encargo muy especial... un cuadro para la cabecera de su cama para que se entretuviera los domingos!!!! jejejej

Recently it was my nephew's birthday, and I had an order pretty especial...a felt picture to put on his bedhead, so he can play on sunday mornings!!!! jejeje

Así que manos a la obra, aqui teneis el cuadro. LLeva muchos elementos que van reforzados con plastico duro y pegados con velcro.

So I did it...here you have the result. It constains a lot of elements which are reinforced with a hard plastic inside and you can stick them with the velcro in the back.

Así puede desmontarlo, y volverlo a montar en la posición que quiera!

You can dismantle everything and put them in different positions.

Como veis está su nombre, números, el sol, la luna, la nube...y muchos animales que le encantan

As you can see in the photos, there is his name, numbers, the soon and the moon, a cloud, and a lot of animals.

This is another way of  recycling, and truth be told, I love the final result!

En este caso hice un broche y un anillo a juego, con tonos rosas y marrones

Y aquí abajo estrenándolos.... como veis, no me pude resistir! ;-)

Funda para ebook / Ebook case

Siiiii!! Al fin compramos un ebook, se acabaron los viajes a la biblioteca. Aunque me daba un poco de penita porque los libros tienen algo especial, ese olor, el tacto...pero bueno, hay que modernizarse, y la verdad es que para viajar y llevar todos los libros que quieras en el bolso está genial.

Yes! Finally we bought and eBook, my trips to the library are finished. Although I was a bit sad, because paper books have something special, the smell, the touch...but, truth be told, this one is great to travel, you can keep all the books you want in your bag!

Precisamente por eso, para llevarlo en el bolso o la maleta le he echo esta funda de gomaeva, para que no se raye, cierra con velcro y  luego se dobla hacia atrás y es muy cómoda para leer!

Just because of that, to keep it inside my bag or suitcase I made this foamy case, to protect it. It is fastened with Velcro and when you open it you can fold it to the back so it's really handy to reed!

Feliz San Valentín / Happy Valentine's Day

Hoy me he contagiado del espiritu de San Valentín, y para decorar un poco la casa he hecho estos móviles con corazones rojos, dan un toque de color...y de amor, jejeje.

Today, as it's Valentine's Day I have made these mobiles with red hearts to decorate the house, they give a touch of colour...and love!!

Son muy faciles de hacer, solo necesitas una cartulina roja, hilo transparente, tijeras y silicona

They are very easy to do, you just need a red cardboard,  transparent thread, scissors and silicone

Cortas la cartulina a tiras finas, las doblas por la mitad, que tengan diferentes tamaños y luego las puntas las enrrollas en un lapiz para darles forma.

Cut the cardboard in thin strips, fold them in the middle (they have to have different sizes) and then  roll the ends on a pencil in order to give them the shape required.

Haces un agujerito en el doble y pasas el hilo transparente

Make a little hole in the middle of the folded part and put through it the transparent thread

Luego solo queda dar un puntito de silicona para unir los dos trozos y el hilo!

Then just join both sides and with the thread in the middle with a bit of silicone!

Como perros y gatos / Like cats and dogs

A veces pienso que las personas se pueden dividir en a las que les gustan los perros o las que son más de gatos, jeje. Yo antes era más de gatos, pero desde que adoptamos a Abby...no puedo decantarme, me encantan ambos, asi que para ellos van estos broches de perros y gatos! ;-)

Sometimes I think people can be divided in dog lovers and cat lovers! I prefered cats, but since we adopted Abby...I love both, so for everybody, here you have these brooches!

Como veis, no me he podido resistir a la goma eva, y me encanta!! De momento os dejo mis primeros broches fofuchitas, pero seguro que vendrán mas!!
As you can see below, I couldn't resist the call of the foamy, and I love it!! These are my first creations, but i'm sure they will come more.
